Our Background
Our team was one of the first to offer short courses to teachers under the former EU LINGUA scheme in the early 1990s. Many hundreds of teachers from many countries have had exciting and enriching experiences on courses that we have run. So we have considerable understanding of the needs and requirements of teachers improving their English, going back over many years.
More than that, we are a team of experienced education specialists who have worked at the highest levels in education both in the UK and internationally. Merganser Consulting is a successful organisation which has contracts with governments both in the UK and overseas to support the development of education services.
From our own previous experience as teachers we are very well aware of what makes a successful international professional learning experience.
We have an international network of professional colleagues and organisations, many of whom work with us to manage visits of UK teachers to their own countries.
