How to apply for an EU grant

Qualified teachers from the 27 member states of the EU as well as Turkey, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway can apply for a grant under Comenius. Comenius is a strand of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) and focuses on school based education.

Teachers must also check that their institution is eligible under the programme. Grants for in-service training are offered under the 2.2 section. Please browse the European Commission website http://ec.europa.eu/education/lifelong-learning-programme/doc84_en.htm for further information on the LLP.

Each country has its own national agency and teachers should contact their own agency for details on how to apply. Strict deadlines apply to all applications. Please note deadlines may vary slightly from country to country.
